Muhammad Qasim grew up in the West Bank city of Ramallah, Palestine. He has come to the West to review the quality of training at Jihadi training camps established through an agreement between host governments in Central America and the terrorist organization known as al-Qaeda.
He then enters the United States on a student visa to attend the University of New Mexico. His true purpose is to awaken sleeper-cell members who have been living in rural western New Mexico and on the Navajo Nation. Muhammad studied the Navajo people and their culture because of its similarity to tribal culture in the Middle East. In reality, Muhammad has devised a plan for a biological attack in New Mexico using the poison ricin.
In a twist of fate Muhammad meets Yanaba Begaye, a member of the Navajo Nation. She is a full-time nurse and part-time activist challenging big business against the use of toxic chemicals on the Navajo reservation as they mine for uranium.
